Is there a way to connect a Mac iBook to a Sanyo 8100 for web use? All
of the SW and cables I've seen are for PC only.
Thanks

Well, if sprint supported the STANDARD called bluetooth, he wouldn't have to
buy a PC.

Actually I was able to solve the problem hassle free. I bought the cable
at Radio Shack and the required software was already included on my
iBook. From what I read, if I owned a PC I would have had to buy the
necessary software.

What is the Radio Shack catalog number of that cable? What SW are you
using? Is it only OSX?

I forget the Cat# but it was about 20 bucks and it was the same one that
was recommended for a PC. Re the software, it's part of OS X I think.

Re: Mac iBook & Sanyo 8100
It is a USB cable which will work (provided you have drivers) on any
platform. I have an iBook and N400 phones (so a different cable, but
does the same thing). It rocks on Mac OS X (10.2 and 10.3).
when my wife travelled with a Vaio I had to download the driver for the
USB cable from the vendor site (was nto included in the XP home
software).
