There are lots of regulars in the group just sick to death of the
space Phillippe in his various incarnations occupies in the newsgroup.
Let's do this: for one week, how about if no one replies to his posts,
flames him or in any way speaks to him. Yes, let's permit ourselves
the luxury of absloutely and totally ignoring him.
To alert newlings, only one reply to a Phillipe post would be
acceptable: "This message is from Philippe and the group is ignoring
him."
OSiris, Tom Veldhouse, Bob Smith... he's on you all the time. Can you
do it? Sure you can. Let's roll guys. This could be fun.
Remember, the only acceptable reply to one of his posts is "This
message is from Philippe and the group is ignoring him." Let him rant
and rave all to himself the whole week. I challenge us all to do this!

Good advice, Rex.
I hope you get more success with it than others have in the past.

As is always the problem, it is very hard to allow a new alias of Phillip
(or even an old one) post hostile and incorrect (or warped) information that
may then be stumbled upon by a lurker (or Google searcher) without posting a
disclaimer about all crap spewing from Phillip's unemployed fingers.

Yea, I've got no problem with doing that. That is, till he starts offering
bogus advice to a new poster here.

Then, how can the reward he obviously gets from flame wars be removed?

Ask George Bush what he likes to do to Texan's and Iraqi Dictators.
Really though, that is what needs to happen to his access to this [and
other] forum.

Don't know if anyone has noticed, but he hasn't responded to a single one of
my posts in over a week. I think its been a combination of asking him
questions (which he never answers) and simply pointing out the real obvious
lies. Of course, it is a possibility that he got sick of being lambasted
and corrected, and killfiled me (which would be a total hoot).

One exception, and I'm game. If he misquotes me again, I=20
will simply and only report what I've actually said.
Other than that, count me in.

He hasn't been posting much anywhere. However, don't trust for a second
that he hates us all and hates Sprint even more. God ... I think he hates
himself (probably for losing his job, for using Sprint and then for using
AT&T ... he can't do anything right!).
Rest assured, when this holiday season is up and he is deamed unemployable
by any potential employer, he will be back here again spouting his FUD.
