I am trying to activate my new phone Santa left. It does not work on the
web. Sprint is closed for the holiday. There is a phone number to call and
that may work but I think that is for new customers. I think because the
web is not working I should get a free activation from Sprint. I guess I
have to wait a day.Any thoughts ?? Can I use the number?

Re: Activation on Christmas???
For the inconvenience, you should at least get:
* free activation;
* 2-months free service;
* free unlimited vision;
* professionally-installed car hands-free speakerphone; and
* $150 service credit.
But, that's just my opinion.
How dare they be closed for Chistmas. Don't they have non-Christian
employees who can run the operation?

And they wonder how come New Yorkers have reputations as jerks...
(Disclaimer: I happen to really like the city, and I have friends and family
who live there.)
Hm, are you working today? (My guess is, "NO")

Someone who really loved you would have made sure the phone was activated
for you to use today.
Do you have any clue how much it costs businesses to operate on holidays
where they are paying employees time and a half or double time? Who do you
think, in the end, pays for you having that convenience? It isn't the
shareholders, I guarantee you.

This is not a complaint that Sprint is closed. It was a question that the
numbert you call is for new customers or old ones activating a new phone.
I am happy they are closeed. I wish them a happy holiday. An by the way
no one loves me. I am the boss.

Re: Activation on Christmas???
When I drove a truck for Roadway Express I was a Teamster. If we worked on a
holiday we got paid double time and a half and most of us used to work every
Columbus Day, which was one of the 14 paid holidays we had each year. That's
the benefit of being in a union though.

Re: Activation on Christmas???
No Hindus at Sprint, apparently!
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwaanza, and merry whatever-else I
may have missed.
Happy New Year..
