I have been using one for about a month now and love it, I had the Kyocera PDA
phone when I was with Verizon and hated it, constantly was re-setting and
getting error messages...Have not had any problem with the Treo...

Basically just how good the Palm side of it is. Do you
    use all the PIM features?

Re: Handspring Treo 600. Anyone use one?

I've used a palm organzer for years. It works well for me. Phone
numbers/addresses, calendars, notes (I bought Thought Manager), etc.

The organizer functions on the Treo 600 are pretty much identical to my
prior Palms. Probably most of the difference is due to Palm OS version
    5 versus 3.5 I was used to.

The list display in the contacts app is different. Used to be one line
per contact. Now it's one line per contact plus one line per phone
number. Makes it easier to call your contacts so I'll call that an
    improvement.

The "snooze" function on alarms differently than my older one. I used
to have the option to snooze alarms for 5, 10, 30 minutes. Now I've
just got one global snooze duration. That's a minor annoyance. OK
since I changed global setting from 5 minutes to 10.

As you can see, I'm grasping at straws in how this differs from earlier
Palm organizers. It's mostly identical. Plus a phone, e-mail (I bought
VersaMail) and web browser, of course.

I'm surprised at how much I like it. It's good.

Just to confirm: The Treo has no graffiti capability, right? Just the
    thumbboard?

Oh yeah, forgot that one. No graffiti. Keyboard is OK. Keyboard is an
improvement compared to Graffiti from my point of view.

Seems to me I've heard of 3rd party graffiti-ish packages if you just
must have it. But no dedicated writing area on the treo 600.

There's a third party app called "Graffiti anywhere" that you can use.
I tried it but found the keyboard infinitely better.
Handspring has an email app in beta that you can get for free; I
couldn't get mine to work with my isp, and use Snapper.
The phone and Palm are beautifully integrated; you type someone's
initials, the name and numbers appear; scroll to it, hit enter, and
your'e dialling. I have a dex of 850 so groovy.
Not all apps work well with the five-way navigator system so there's an
included stylus, but once you get used to the fiver, you become
    addicted.

You can add Graffiti anywhere or some other programs if you want to
'grafitti'. I think that the keyboard works well on a smaller device like
    this one.

Otherwise, I love my T600, migrated from the Sony Clie NX60, so lost the
resolution on the screen but overall the internet access works better than
    looking for a WiFi Hotspot!

Re: Handspring Treo 600. Anyone use one?

I kn ow a few people that have them and they love them with the
exception that there apparently is no current Bluetooth device for
them. They would like to be able to use them with their Bluetooth
    handsfree devices...

i have had mine for about two months. find it incredibly useful to access
pop mail using treo's free client and pdanet to use it as a modem for
travel. the web access features are great. it is versatile and great when i
am on the go. since i have to be wired all of the time, it is great and the
palm features enable a lot of other applications that can be used on it,
    including games!!!!
