I am considering buying an extended battery for my Sanyo 8100. What has
been users experience with this battery. Do you get significantly more
battery time with the extended?

Re: Sanyo 8100 Extended Battery
I bought an extended battery for my wife's 8100, but I don't know how
much it extends the time. She forgets to charge it some nights, so the
extended battery assures she'll have at least another day of usage. It
always still shows a 'full' battery after one day of use. I do know
that it fits in Sanyo's hard-plastic holster, and it adds enough weight
and thickness such that the phone loses its 'ultralight' feeling. This
must not bother her, because she's still using it. If your 8100 is
lavender/pearl or navy/gold instead of silver, be sure to get a matching
battery.
