8100 no longer works as modem

I've used my Sanyo 8100 as a modem with my iBook in a pinch to get
e-mail and it worked from the start. Now it no longer connects. I asked
at the Sprint store and they were vague at best but suggested that maybe
Sprint disabled the phone's ability to do this. I have Vision on my
service. Does anyone have any idea why this no longer works?

Maybe it's just as simple as a corrupted driver, and you need to reinstall
it.

I had a bad cable which did everything except transfer data. Actually
cable worked for the 4900 and when I traded for a 5400 was
spotty--drove me crazy, checked everything except the cable, had a
spare on, and by chance tried it, and took care of the problem--little
things!!

How come none of the SprintPCS apologists point out the totally made up
answer from the Sprint store???
