Which is kinda moot, with the new upgrade policy.

Despite one poster insulting me and saying the 18 month policy is still
in place, that web site today gives me (and my 3 month old RL2500):
http://pcshandsetupgrade.sprint.com/
===========================================================
To receive rebate customer must:
* Sign up and remain on a $35 or higher monthly PCS Service Plan
* Renew a one or two year PCS Advantage Agreement
* PCS Phone must remain active for a minimum of 30 days
* If purchasing a Vision Handset you must sign up for a
Vision Service Plan.
* Have an account in good standing
The PCS Phone activated with this*PCS Phone number*meets the 18 month
age requirement. Yes
====================================
So after one gets the rebate they could cancel Vision?
A SprintPCS employee poster said the $50 online credit that requires
automatic billing, one could cancel automatic billing after 2 months
when they've gotten their 2 $25 credits.

Strange, when I go to that page, it still quotes the old 18 month policy,
and says that my phone (a 7 month old VGA1000) doesn't meet the
requirement, but will qualify in March 2005! So much for internal
consistency...

It's worse, my second phone number does not even show in the database.
Thank you Convergys./

That means the web site isn't using your RL2500 as the basis for your=20
qualifying. And that, in turn, means that the system doesn't=20
consider it a new phone.
First guess is that the RL2500 you have is reconditioned.
Whatever the actuality, we've been working on the functionality of=20
that site to help it catch CSA changes, warranty replacements, etc. =20
And it sounds like it's doing exactly that in your case. You didn't=20
buy your phone, so your "clock" wasn't reset.

Nope, BRAND NEW and free from Louisville, KY.
Thank you, Executive Services.
Too bad you can't admit the database is messed up.

What is the 8 PM loyalty deal? A site to look at. I've had the 300 minutes
for 30 for a couple of years now. But it is still 9 PM.
Thanks,
Mike

One day I received an email that said since I was a loyal customer to
sprint that I qualified for 8pm evenings. My contract was up so I gave
them a call and said you sent me an email that said I was entitled to the
8pm deal. They said yes you are. I got a new contract and the 8pm
unlimited start time for $30. I was paying $29.95. Not bad for $0.05.
