Has anyone used their 6225 as a modem? What's the secret? I have had
success with other Sprint phones but not this one.

AFAIK, No one's been able to figure out the 6225. #777 specifically
doesn't work, so I'm wondering if that was something Sprint had put into
the firmware to prevent laptop data connections.
Old 2G wireless web connections WILL work however, but of course you
incur a $.39/minute charge for that.

Or pay $5 per month and the wireless web just comes out of your
regular minutes.

But will SprintPCS provision a Wireless Web pack for a Vision phone?
I didn't think that was an option.

Regardless, it still kinda defeats the OP's intent. You'll still need
an external ISP to dial into, and you'll be screaming along at 14.4K.

Why would you need an external ISP?. Back when I used Wireless Web,
I dialed into #2932 which makes Sprint your free ISP.

Re: 6225 as Modem
THis may be a pointless question as no one seems to have been
successful but would you connect the nokia 6225 with a cable or the
IR?
