I use all eleven digits, which includes the U.S./Canada country code of "1".

More specifically, it would use the area code of the antenna site you
are transcieving with.

I don't recall if you ever mentioned what type of phone you
have. On mine (Sanyo 4920) under settings / sounds / ringer type
there's a list of types of call services (voice calls, readylink
calls, etc.) If I enter "voice calls" I get a drop-down box with nine
standard ringer types and I think eleven "melody" ringer types (none
of which I liked, so I actually made my own with free tools on-line,
out of music that interested me).
I have a feeling that the more you play around with the phone
the more you'll discover. It's a lot to learn quickly if you're not
familiar with this stuff, but it's sort of fun.
Good luck, DGI

It took me 3 days to find the songs but I finally did. They had these
tones number 1..2 ...3 etc..and I thought I had gone to the end of
them..but after them..came the songs. I am really disappointed in the
songs that come with the Sanyo 7400
Made your own songs...wow!!

You don't have to be a Latin scholar to know what the prefix "pre" means
(as in prepaid).
And certainly most people know what "append" means. Substitute "pre"
for the "ap" in append and ... voila! It's not rocket science.
