I am looking to replace my Sanyo 8100 after Christmas. Is anyone aware
of any new Bluetooth phones coming out between now and then? The
current selection is less than stellar.
TIA

Go to www.sprintpcs.com; then to "shop" and then to "phones".
There's a grand total of three BT phones including two PDA BT phones.

I can see the application for connecting to a wireless headset, but the cost
currently just isn't worth it unless you're already spending more than $250 on
the phone as is the case with a pda phone.
For providing internet connectivity, BT offers little advantage over a wired
connection. If you're lugging around a laptop, the weight of a 3' cable doesn't
amount to much.

Most high-end cars (Mercedes, BMW, Lexus) have BT capability.
