will SprintPCS (CDMA) ever take on the use of SIM cards so it wont be so
hard to just switch phones. like during the week a TREO 650 and on evening
and weekend a smaller phone when all the extra info is not needed....

    Re: Sprint / SIM card

There is a CDMA "SIM", but it porbably won't be adopted by Sprint for a
while unless they're forced to use it. It's called the R-UIM.

Maybe you could get a cheap phone and add a line to your service?

Another option: I got a cheap GSM phone and popped a T-Mobile prepaid
into it. I use this phone while abroad with local prepaid SIMs.
