In April of this year, I signed up for the Flexible Data Plan 40 MB for
$39.99. Yesterday I received my bill and somehow in the space of 3 days I
managed to use up not only the 40 MB but racked up an additional $30 in data
charges. I called Sprint to see if there was a way I could get access to my
usage detail online, the way you can get voice call detail, but they said
no. I was told they don't even have access to it unless they go into a
    different system.

I'll probably switch to the Unlimited Plan for $59.99, but in the meantime,
I'd like to find a way to monitor my usage on my laptop. Is there a program
I can run while I'm connected to keep an eye on the usage?

    Thanks,

Thanks, Paul. I just downloaded Bandwidth Monitor - the traffic report seems
to be exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, you discovered how far 40MB will get you.

    Not very far.

I agree 40mb is not much for average internet user. When I had
dialup, 40mb would only last a typical day with email (4 active
addresses, easily 100 messages a day) plus newsgroup plus a couple
forums. I've since then upgraded to DSL and I'm averaging around 150
MB per day not counting assorted downloads like mp3's

[email protected] disgust me. [email protected] spams a lot in game
so I am posting [email protected] as often as possible so [email protected]
would start getting spammed [email protected] eye for an eye. for good
luck, [email protected] and [email protected]
