Same sort of experience here. They were going to replace my 3,000 night
and weekends @ 8pm with unlimited night and weekends @ 8pm for another
1-year contract. Huh? What a bum deal!!!

Do you get a lot of wrong number calls? That seemed to me to be
the only real selling point of first incoming minute free, but I have
not gotten many of them. In fact, usually if I don't recognize the
caller id, I do not answer period. They can have a go at voice mail and
my greeting should tell them they have the wrong number, so I don't get
any wrong number voice mails either.

    Re: no more FIMF?

I have a business with my cell phone. On my last bill I had 1097 calls. With
those 1097 calls I used a total of 2,414 minutes. Of those 1097 calls,
roughly 75%, or 750 calls were INCOMING. I went over on my last bill by 257
minutes. If even half of those 750 calls were part of my AT minutes, that
would be 375 minutes I would not be charged for, more than enough to cover
    my overage.

If that's not enough to convince you, many people call to confirm
appointments with me, and those calls are usually less than one minute.

A first incoming minute free would be HUGE for me.

The cost per minute has come down considerably since fimf was no
    longer offered.
Perhaps we can talk them into giving us all less than 1 minute
    incoming calls free, LOMICF.
