I've been with sprint for over 6 yrs. Now on retention plan I get 800 anytime,
    3000 n/w, 500 pcs-pcs, free wireless web option, 8:00 pm off-peak, and long
distance included for $50 per month. I am looking to buy the new samsung a-620,
which will require me to switch to a vision plan if I want to access the web.
If I call retention is it possible to negotiate the plan that I currently have
plus unlimited vision or better plan for what I am paying now. Also is the same
content that accesibble by non-vision phone, would be accessible by vision.

    thanks.

Probably not, but it can't hurt to try.

For the most part, what you can access on WW, you can access on Vision.
MSN/Hotmail is one big exception. They're still working on that. It works
via a manually entered URL for some, not for others.

AIM, too, has been problematic since we put it into Vision. That, too, is
getting attention both from us and from AOL.

I don't know what they can you for you, but in about February I added
vision to an old 8pm plan, which at that time was still only $10 extra,
I believe is now $15--If you notice, most of the lower volumn plans
show a $15 charge for vision--just ask for the $15 add on to your
currrent plan---I had to get a supervisor to fianally suggest doing this
for my plan-the c/s kept wanting to change my plan--that's a great plan
you have, might you tell us what plan you had before and sort of how
the negotiation went--sounds like you did well.

I went thru a couple of reps in retention about 2 yrs ago, but finally
negotiated my current plan and $75 credit toward a new phone. I guess I have
to call them, to see what they can offer for me, but I would not want to pay
more than I do now. I hear these days retention got tougher.

Let us know what you get, but if you look ove the current published
plane in the $50 month range, the current per minute charge figures at
about .10/ minute--your rate is a lot better than any I am aware of,
    plus the 8pm nights

I just did this 3 days ago. Like you, I have a great plan I negotiated with
Retention 1 yesr ago. I just bought the Samsung A600. I got the CSR to
maintain my plan and just add vision to it for $15/month.

How do you contact a retention rep? I am at the end of my contract and am
considering switching carriers, for the right deal, I would stay with
    sprint.
