    It looks like Sprint has updated some maps to show more areas are now
    covered by the full upgraded network.

    For example, check out zip code 24060 in Virginia. Much of that area
    SW of Roanoke just earlier this week was still showing up as
    "Additional PCS area"

    I don't see any changes at all in the West. The maps are still the same.

    just go to sprintpcs.com and type in a zip code. once you get a map up
    you can change the area by choosing another state/city

    That is becuase the City of Roanoke just finished building this area.
    If you had done soem research you would have realized this part of
    earth did not exist untill recently.

    Thus when this part became into existance, they city asked for a
    christening a new PCS coverage instead of the normal clothes and baby
    stuff they normaly ask for.

    trust me you dont want to know what city council does with the baby
    stuff.
