Is Sanyo 4900 discontinued?

Today I pickedup from RadioSack SnapSync & SnapDialer (combo) programs
including Data cable for Sanyo 4900 phone for about $30. I did not see any
Sanyo 4900 phone at the store.

Yes, it is discontinued, as is the Model 6400 (similar but Slim and
Monochrome LCD without speakerphone)

I just checked at a local RS today and after clicking around on the
computer he claimed they may have a few in the Fort Worth facility
(the main Tandy complex). Not sure what that really means as I am no
where near there.

yes , sad to say it was replaced with the 6400 monochrome grey scale lcd...
look into a a500 or maybe if you dont use analog roam that much a p300
single band, both have sizeable screens and vision capable

WRONG. The 6400 is also discontinued. The 6400 replaced the 6200 which did not
do Vision.

The 6400 was just discontinued 3 weeks ago after being on sale for
$49.99. And when Sprint sets a discontinuance day, they mean it!
I called the 800 sales number 3 days late and was told:

"The computer shows some 6400's in the warehouse, but it won't let me
sell any, not even at the non-sale price".

The only two Sanyo phones available on Sprint's website are the 5300 and the
8100, both the 6200 and the 6400 seem to be discontinued.

Yes, it's been discontinued. We have a few Sanyo 4900's left if anyone
is looking for one.
