Anyone else have PCS Voice Command mysteriously added to their plan? I just
examined my plan online and for some reason, it's listing PCS Voice Command.

Have you recently changed plans?
When I changed, Sprint offered me 2 months of free Vision and
2 months of free Voice Command.

After I traded my phones in the first time, I asked to use my phones in the
store to jot down the numbers from my phone book. They didn't allow that
but said they would give me a month free of voice commands to assist with
putting the numbers back into the phones (never used voice commands, so I'm
not sure how that would have worked). Anyways, I received my next statement
and sure enough, they had charged me for voice command services on both
phones after telling me I would have it for a month free.

Same here. Voice command added to my invoice, but I'm getting a year of it
for free. I don't use it, but since they aren't charging me, I'd just as
soon not bother with it. And no, I didn't change my plan or call in or
anything. It just appeared one month.

Sorry to hear it happened like that. Voice Command can be a bit hard to
figure out how it got on. If you've ever managed to dial[*][TALK],
then it'll provision itself on your account. It's never right, though,
to put it on without your knowledge/consent.
Other than that, though, call and have it removed. You *may* even be
able to do that on the web site.

A year free? Sounds like Total Digital Connection, or some other
business plan. Odd, though, if you didn't change anything yourself.

Well, I was rather surprised to find out that my phone that is an
Add-a-Phone to my Wife's phone has Voice Command automatically while her
phone does not / never had it.

Re: voice command added? wtf?
Alex,
Yes I too found PCS Voice Command on my invoice although I never enrolled
nor did I request it, ever. Not only did they add something to my plan
without my consent, what they did was charge me for Voice command and then
give me a CREDIT for the same amount.
So if you don't review your bill in detail, you probably wont notice it. The
"gotcha", and this is really at the bottom of the barrel, after 12 months if
you don't complain, they eliminate the credit and you get "hooked" into
paying for something you never asked for in the first place.
