It sounds like that the amount that was displayed at one time was
incorrect ($.002/KB as opposed to $.01/KB).

Most likely Sprint is notifying all customers of this correction /
increase, even if you have a plan where you do not get billed for.

But I think I would have been apprehensive if I had gotten that letter,
    too.

Of course you'd be scared if you had to deal with Sprint billing.

Well... I'd like to think we were simply informing everyone, but it was=20
only meant to go out to people not on any Vision package, casual users. =20
I'd have to relocate the original post, but I'm pretty the letter=20
actually informs the customer that they don't have a Vision pack.

So I can certainly understand apprehension. Just like with the=20
Picturemail service and that text message people get telling them to=20
accept the $5/mo charge for it. It's got good intentions. We don't let=20
our service partner access our billing systems, so they started sending=20
that message to everyone (and we agreed to let them) just to update=20
their lists for everyone who is a legitimate subscriber. And, since=20
they can't see who has a Pictures pack, they tell everyone they need to=20
accept the $5 charge or have their Picturemail access shut off. That,=20
too, causes apprehension, especially for customers already signed up for=20
the Pictures pack, or already paying the $5/month. We meant well. =20
Privacy protection and all that. We probably should have setup a two-
way system between us where they tell us who's signed up, we tell them=20
who's not subscribed, and then they send out the message to those=20
    people.

We didn't handle this as well as, perhaps, we could have. No doubt=20
about that. In the end, though, customers on Vision packs will see=20
nothing change unless they get rid of those packs.

I was wondering about the $5 charge for picturemail. The guy on the
phone didn't really explain to much to me all he said was just agree to
it, no changes will be made to your account since you already have
    vision with pictures pack.

BTW if I got the Vision premium pack instead of Vision pictures pack how
much would I pay per picture to send them, or would I even be allowed to
    send pictures anymore?

$5/mo for unlimited use. Or the picturemail account gets locked out
after 2 weeks (where you can still download from PC) and then deleted
    after 30 days.
