I got similar, except for 600 minutes, and the phone I got
    was a Samsung I330.

    That's phenomenal!
I use the i330 personally, and like it a lot. How did you get
Sprint to give you a $500 phone for a $360 contract?

Phill. Is that 600 peak minutes, unlimited nights and weekends for $30?

All it takes is patience and being a consumer. Employees get nothing
out of custome service, but if a reg. customer calls up and is willing
to stay on the phone for a while, they can usually get something.

It also never hurts to ask to speak to talk to a supervisor either.

That's pretty much the plan i'm on. I got it back when they first
released unlimited Vision packs for $10.

One call I was transferred to four different people claiming to be
    supervisors.

you shouldn't have to ask more than once. If you encounter resistance
get their name and badge number, call back and fill out a complaint
    request.

    I work for sprint,
    I *don't* speak for them.

And if (as often happens) they refuse to give you more than "My name is
    John" ?

They have to give you a badge number too. If not just say that they
refused to give that to you. If you give them the approx time the
conversation started, that usually helps too.

But one never knows which call center a call was connected to so saying
"John" refused to escalate does zero good what so ever. Too bad you're
not in the real world, its the minority of times an employee gives me
    anything more than first name.
