I don't think you can manually program all zeros or anything like that. =20
I think you need to take it into a Sales and Service Center and have=20
them run the Refurb Tool software on it. Cleans it out factory clean, I=20
believe. Same basic idea as the N400 discussion in another thread.

Another option might be to lock the phone after setting some random lock=20
code without telling your friend. I think 911 can still be dialed when=20
the phone is locked. Obviously, if a thief tries long enough, they'll=20
get through and get the info. But four-keying almost 10,000 different=20
lock codes to find the one that works isn't exactly a walk in the park =20

Most stores can't support the Samsung 1000, that was lost with the
upgrade to Win2K, but they can re-program the phone for all 0's
    (000-000-0000).

As for locking it, I don't know if the SCH-1000 can call 911 when locked
    (some phones can, some can't).

Here you go posting wild ass guesses again. You need to stop giving out

Ummmm......quick question, Justin. Did "you" know the answer?

Or has the giant hard-on you have for Rob drained all the blood from your

come on Justin.. that wasnt needed.. his advise made some since..

But in respince to O/siris' post, I think you can enter all 0's or at
least enter 123-456-7890 in the programming of the phone.
But he is gonna need the MSL for the phone.

No, I didn't know the answer. And that's the point. Rob is typical of *2
morons who give out an answer because they work for Sprint and think they
know it all. People ask questions on this board and he's running around
handing out poor advice, as an employee. People come here to ask questions,
and they get just as many answers here from Sprint employees as they do *2
    operators.

I didn't see you bashing him when he was following me around calling me a
liar every other post. I didn't see you accusing him of having a hard on for
me when he was following me around spouting "liar liar". So take your
bigoted opinions and shove them up your ass. I'm just pointing out that he
posts useless information. Also waiting on him to clear up where I lied in
my story, why he followed me to the ATTWS forum, why he posts incorrect
information, why he refuses to discuss a topic all the way after he butts in
    and claims someone is wrong.

If you don't want to read my posts, as I've told others, plonk me.

Exactly. So why did you waste your time and Usenet's bandwidth?

So? You think WE (the other posters) don't know what idiots Sprint hires?
Aren't you preaching to the choir?

I'm not interested in getting into a pissing match with you...but think
    about this:

If you didn't "know the answer"....'splain to me how you "knew" Rob's answer
was wrong? I don't know, either way, if he is right, or wrong. All I saw
was you jumping on him without refuting with any facts. He may be a liar,
moron, and totally inept. Or not. I don't know....or care.

No, you didn't. Probably because that was before I ever subscribed? Or

And "you" incessantly pointing this out is "not" useless information? We
got the point 250 posts ago.

OK...while you are waiting on said apology, why not go stand in the corner
and hold your breath? He ain't likely to apologize, and all the while he's
laughing his ass off at you getting played like a cheap fiddle. He says
something and you spew and fume like a 39 cent teakettle.

Watching you two argue is like watching the 40 yard dash at the Special
