Sprint is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas (Area code 913). I find
it interesting that the Exec Services department is somewhere in the Dallas/
Fort Worth area (area code 817).

Then I wonder if they're set up like Verizon - Verizon has a regional
executive relations office and regional vice presidents for each operating
area. In which case, those Texas numbers won't help anyone except the people
normally served by that call center.

There executive services may be set up that way, but with *2 you may get
someone from any call center. I remember calling back to tell them that
Manger A had told me he would call me back, only to be told, "Manager A
doesn't work in this call center, nothing we can do."

It's the same crap shoot if you call CS from a landline.

I don't doubt that, or with another carrier, as well. In fact, I'd be
surprised if it was any different with any of the other carriers.

With Verizon, as far as I personally can tell, you get the call center
designated to handle the area from which you are calling *611. Every time.

Like, from here you'd always get Irvine... from Cleveland you'd always get
    Dublin, Ohio, down near Columbus.

You are correct.. depending on which region of the united states you are
in with Verizon Wireless, you will get the designated call center for
the region each time you call *611.

    Partially correct.

VZW routes calls based on the number to the appropriate call center. For
example, if you have a KC area # 816-560-xxxx, for example, and you're in LA
and call 611/*611, you'll get local KC customer service, not LA.

If you're in KC with an LA number, you'll get LA customer service, not
    Kansas City.
