F&CA and 8PM N&W plans are two unrelated sets of plans. The two do not=20
mix.

True, but that's not Free&Clear America. Those $10 bundles don't=20
include Long Distance, for one example.

Actually Rob, they can. It's a bit confusing as the prior poster did
not clarify which roaming option he has, as the 50 minute roaming
bundle SPCS has always offered is also $10. I have the $10/mo. F&CA
option on my plan. SPCS offered the option for the F&CA in a few
limited markets back in the Spring ... before offering the full F&CA
plans.

Oh, those test options. Yeah, I remember those, but didn't think of=20
those. If he's on the "regular" ones, though, they don't include Long=20
Distance.
That's going to change very soon now, though. Have you seen the new 4th=20
quarter price plans?

Re: F&CA with 8pm nights
I was initially offered 8pm for being a "valued customer" which I signed
up for in addition to a new plan with more minutes.
Later I was told they hadn't signed me up for the new plan (after I'd
gone over my minutes limit thinking I had a new plan) becasue I'd have
to sign a new contract.... Oh and btw, they'd charge me a $36 fee for
the new plan also.... WTF??
So at that point I wondered, well if they're going to treat me like a
new customer can I get a phone deal? Of course the answer is no.
But I really needed the phone for business that month and it was too
late to switch so I bit the bullet. At least they promised they'd credit
the overage due to their plan change F-Up.
Of course later they didn't credit the overage and denied all knowledge
of their mistake. Oh and it turned out that the $36 fee was an error,
but that I'd still have to pay it, and they'd refund it off my next
bill, which of course is kind of annoying when one really wants to
cancel them altogether.
In the end I was told several things about deals being eligible or not
eligible, had them screw up my plan change, had them bill me for $200 of
overage fees due to thir F-Up on a plan change, and had to pay fees that
they acknowledged were mistaken, but which I'd have to wait to have
corrected, essentially me giving Sprint interest free loans. And of
course the fees themselves were screwed up again requiring another call
to CS even after they were supposed to be fixed.
Stay away from Sprint POS !! This company seems to be deliberately
cutting costs by their inept CS staff and billing policies that screw
the customer. Just once out of all the billing errors and F-Ups they've
made, I'd like to see ONE TIME it end in my favor, where I'm UNDER
charged or by accident they give me an especially nice plan.
Somehow, for some unknowable reason, they always seem to make mistakes,
quite innocently of course, which just happen to result in more fees and
profit for them. Gee, wonder why....
Btw. nice additional "taxes" Sprint has started charging that aren't
really taxes at all and which are completely disproportionate to any
expenditure of theirs.

I just did on the website, and didn't notice any difference. Will some

Re: F&CA with 8pm nights
I do have the "Test" plan that includes the LD. It even includes roaming
in Guam, which F&CA do not I don't know how the new plans can top
mine. And it isn't even a retention plan. --Allthough one time a CSR
rep asked me if there was anything else they could do fof me, and I
asked if I could get 8pm N&W again because I used to have it. Then she
said that she had to put me on hold and transfer me to a diff dep. I
was like which one, an she said it was the cancel dep, because they can
do more. She talked to the other rep, and when she came on, she said
"Your all set!"

My Plan: $85 2000 A/t, 3000 N&w 8-9pm, unlimited N&W for $10, Unlimited
PCS2PCS, Unlimited Vision, Off network option with 50% mins can be used
for roaming, 2 add-a-phone's ($20 for third), and a 15% discount from
where I work. Total with taxes is $139.45. Divide that by 3, and I am
only paying $46.48 each phone.

Re: F&CA with 8pm nights
You know I love it when self appointed moderators tell me what not to
post. I get really impressed by that.
Tell me, are you a Sprint POS employee by any chance?
I wonder if you are and how you feel working for a company that rips
people off and which is consistently rated the lowest by major
publications including Consumer Reports. I know there's nothing that
gives people a sense of pride in their work like knowing they've ripped
off their customers and achieved the lowest customer satisfaction
ratings in the industry. Oh Joy!
Of course denial is always a good way to deal with those nagging
questions of conscience. I'm sure thousands of executives and other
employees for less savory companies practice it every day. Companies
like Enron and Worldcom practically refined it to an art.
It is good to know you've heard the "rant" before.
It's not terribly surprising because apparently according to studies
done by independent and reputable parties, Sprint has the most
dissatisfied customers.
That is especially true for billing errors which happened to be the
topic of my "rant" and which also happens to have been worthy of a
special mention from Consumer Reports because %20 of people leaving
Sprint complain of billing errors, which is highly unusual.
Sprint POS - at the bottom and proud of it!

I presume POS is expressing his opinion of SprintPCS after the billing
messups he experienced.
