Sprint 50 At Home LD Question

I've been on Sprint's 50 At Home plan for over a year. My most recent bill
shows that I've used under 50 minutes so there should be no charges, but I
have the following under "Other credits and charges":

CARRIER COST RECOVERY CHARGE $.99

I'm charged some taxes on the above amount as well. I know it's only a
dollar and change, but is this a legit charge?

define legit? If you call and complain, Sprint will take it off (at
least once).

If you have zero LD, they do not charge the 99 cents

It's really a revenue enhancement charge, but since it could refer to
any costs Sprint incurs- sure it's legit. Any company will want to
pass on rising costs to the consumer and this somehow sounds better
than "price increase". Of course, if these charges start to add up to
about $5.95/month that would kill the whole point of Sprint 50 at
Home- which might decrease revenue.

You'd probably have to ask our LD company about that. The charges they
can or must charge (in this case, probably "can") vary a bit from from
what wireless carriers can charge.

You'd probably have to ask our LD company about that. The charges they=20

Get your tongue out of Rob's ass for a minute and look at how many times he
posts guesses. He works for Sprint PCS, right? Is that why he has to
answer EVERY question someone here posts, even if he guesses?

For you, it is only $.99? In our neck of the woods it is $1.99. One of the
main reasons for having a cell phone is to avoid doing landline long
distance, and if we need to, use a calling card from Costco or Sam's Club to
get MCI or AT&T long distance, respectively.
