hi.
My phone's version is 1.035. ...am I far off from the current version?
...and what are the changes in the newer software?
I'm just wondering if it's worth the risk of a fried phone (again).
thanks!

Re: 5300 software update
it is always worth the risk:-)
Just make sure that all of your information is updated first ( and make
that explicitltly clear). As Sprint is Obligated to replace your phone
on the spot with a new phone. (and a new 1 year warranty)

Re: 5300 software update
1.038 is the newest... it just addressed issues with calendar and screen
call (not sure what, no specifics given) and addressed issues in one
specific market area. If you aren't having problems, I wouldnt worry
about it.
