Here are the guidelines for existing customers to get rebates.

    1. Have same PCS phone for 18 months.
    2. Sign up on plan $35 or higher.
    3. Sign a new agreement (1 or 2, rebate based on that agreement)
    4. If purchasing a vision phone, must go onto a vision plan.
    5. Account must be in good standing.

With this you will qualify for new customer rebates at ANY store, not
just the PCS stores (ex. Best Buy, Radio Shack, Costco...)

    Re: Existing Customer Rebates

I may have missed this in the thread, but exactly what rebate amount is
available and on which phones, or are they the generally published
    rebates on sprintpcs page etc?

i don't think many third party retailers (best buy, costco, etc.) know
    about this.

The 18 month part, means that you haven't gotten a new phone from sprint
on this account from sprint in months, right, because some of us buy
phones from ebay etc. Also, if you are currently on a 35 or higher
plan, can you keep it with it's 8pm nights, etc)
( same phone for 18 months, does anyone really keep the same phone for 6
    months, hum, odd??)

Also what about if you signed a year agreement to get the 8pm nights a
few months ago, if would customer be allowed to maintain the original
    vision plan

No, it goes by the ESN, if there was an ESN swap in the last 18 months
    you won't qualify.

You can keep your plan as long as you are above $35 per month.

    Your current agreement means nothing.

    Re: Existing Customer Rebates

That opens up quite a few interesting senerios:

If you paid retail for a phone (which I did), and didn't get any new
customer rebates, and had to swap phones due to a defective phone, why
    should you be penalized?

I can't see that rule working too overly well, IMHO at least.

Another senerio is if you had to replace phones due to insurance (eg,
    lost/stolen, equip replacement).

I think this is going to have to be revisited, simply because there are too
many legitimate reasons someone would need to swap phones in less than 18
months, especially with those of us who migrated to vision last year. (I
went vision last December, then my phone crapped out)

    Re: Existing Customer Rebates

You are exactly right. The folks who switch phones etc, probably run up
more minutes, etc and have a higher monthly billing--one of the fun
things about sprint, is the variety of phones they have had over the
last 3-4 years--as oppose to verizon--have only 2 different verizon
phones in 5-6 years, no reason to change, no new or slicker phones.(
    well maybe a couple)
