Re: Larry of SprintUsers is Imposter
Are you referring to me? What do you mean I'm an imposter? And by the
way I'm 32 years old so I don't think that qualifies me as a teenager.
But at least I don't change my identity 15 times in a month like you
do.

Hey super sleuth, you may want to take another look at the headers and
learn how to use some commands from your CLI before you go blaming
someone..
Here's a hint, drop to a command prompt and enter:
nslookup www.sprintusers.com
What IP address did you get?
I'm not using a Windows machine and run my own DNS so mine looks a
little different but here it is:
[norelpref@samba norelpref]$ nslookup -sil www.sprintusers.com
Server: 192.168.0.100
Address: 192.168.0.100#53
Name: www.sprintusers.com
Address: 64.246.24.83
Now try:
host www.sprintusers.com
[norelpref@samba norelpref]$ host www.sprintusers.com
www.sprintusers.com has address 64.246.24.83
yes, www.sprintusers.com resolves to none other then 64.246.24.83. I
believe any post from their forum comes in with that ip address. Way
to go Phil, your selective research skills shine through once again.

I was going to point this out to him, but:
1. He would have called me an apologist that was trying to spin away from
the original post.
2. It was much too fun to watch him go over the top in his exhibition of
total stupidity. This is my favorite Phil thread of all-time.

What the hell does that have to do with you screwing up on this?

I actually may un-plonk the fool, just to catch some of this amusement.
I *almost* can't believe he'd say what you guys quoted.

The un-plonk might provide some entertainment, but then you have to subject
yourself to all of the useless tolling again. I'd plonk him in a
heartbeat, but he's an excellent study in speaking before knowing.

What's that supposed to mean? I've never posted about taking a trip to
Mexico.

You're probably right, Scott.
The amusement wouldn't likely be enough to justify reading the =
stupidity.
You guys re-quote much of the juicy stuff, anyway. :-)
The Cat0nCrack remains plonked here.

Re: Larry of SprintUsers is Imposter
Oh please Phil. That's nothing I have ever poster. I have never had a
pacbell address nor did I start posting anything over Usenet until late
2001. I have never changed my identity or used any other name except my
real name unlike you. Didn't you ever stop to think that there could be
more than one Larry Thomas? Thomas is (or used to be) one of the top 25
most common names that exist in the US. It's pretty sad when trolls
have to resort to making totally false accusations against someone with
absolutely no proof to back them up.

Larry, don't try to convince him with facts or figures or even logic
for that matter. That only confuses him more.
I think I might be going the *ignore* route for him. It's hard
considering he is an easy target but it's almost to the point of not
worth even replying to his posts.

Re: Larry of SprintUsers is Imposter
Oh I do apologize... it was me who was making those posts about a trip
to Mexico. I like male prostitutes. I am a dirty whore. Is there
anything wrong with that?
