Apparently there's been some sound issues with the new iPhone 3G S. It seems like after the sound file is done playing, the iPhone gives off a high-frequency tone around 15KHz. The problem is more than likely stemming from a software issue due to the fact when you set your phone on vibrate, you do not get the high pitched sound. It's expected Apple will catch this and eventually fix the problem.

Interesting. I hope it isn't a hardware issue. I have the good old 3G, and have no new sound issues.

Ive got the new 3g and i dont have the noise?

maybe, it's got something to do with the settings. Surely Apple will fix it, iPhone is one of their flagbearer products,...
