they (Not Apple) said 2012, then they said end of june, now they its been pushed after summer, September ?

I would say the iPhone 5 will be release between now and Christmas.

Possibly yes. But the next generation iPhone will not be out until 4th quarter of this year if I'm not mistaken so I don't think it's because of that.

I just read on timtechs that production of the iPhone 5 will not start until probably September and launch date will either be end of this year or early next year.

It will be on fall. In fact apple normally goes for it's press events on 2nd Tuesday of fall. So I guess this new i phone 5 will be released on that day. (13 Th September). But it may released on June. It is a dough and if Apple don't release it then they will definitely wait until the September. If you are waiting so anxiously for a i phone I suggest you better go on with i phone 4. Because if you fell like buying a iPhone 5 you can sell your iPhone 4 and you can experience both varieties.
