AT&T apparently have changed their policy on the their Android smartphone, Infuse 4G. AT&T is now allowing the Samsung Infuse 4G users to sideload apps to their Infuse 4G. If you are an Infuse 4G user, all you have to do is select "Unknown Sources" box and download the non market apps right to your handset.

This is the first step in doing away the sideload app barrier and according to the senior vice president of AT&T, Jeff Bradley, AT&T plans to lift the block by first allowing users to get the Amazon Appstore.

Once AT&T customers downloads the Amazon Appstore, they will then be allowed to download non-market apps. It's expected that other Android devices with this barrier block will receive some type of update to release this block.
