Ive been successful in changing the banner, and uploading the pics from the phone
But for the life of me (Ive searched the web extensively) I cant find a way to download wallpaper into my phone. Ive resized and save with XP paint as a .png file .
If I send it as an attachment its in my graphics file..but once there you cant assign it as wallpaper just a screen saver.
Maybe you have to buy MS Photoshop??
Also cant get rid of the that startup/shutdown music and ad..geezz Ive already bought Verizon..why do they need to throw an ad at me?
BTYthis is with Verizon (buy-it-now-su*ks!).

I've been using the data cable and brewsky...still doesn't work for wallpapers...did you get it to work with your own pictures that are re-sized and and changed to .png?
Are you using Version's CDM8900?

CMD8900 with Telus and it works.
I crop\resize my picture (took from my real digital cam.) to 128 x 145 then save it in PNG formatthen upload them on my phone. They are saved in the Images\Wallpaper then from there I'm able to assign then as wallpaper.
I have about 20 of my own pics on my phone to be use as wallpaper.

Wallpapers: Some working, some not...
I can't quite figure this out. I've resized a couple images to the correct size and format and saved them to my phone successfully. They work fine, I currently have 4 working as wallpapers. I wanted to set a company logo as a wallpaper though, so I created the image to all of the same specifications, but for some reason it says "file is invalid" when i try to set it as wallpaper. I can view it and save it in my web browser on the phone, but when I get to the stage of actually setting it as wallpaper it says it is an invalid file. There is no difference betweem this logo image and the pictures I have already working on the phone. It simply doesn't make sense to me.

That is the image which won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
