    Re: LG VX10000 Voyager Review

The genius Verizon engineers if you could call them that, missed obvious problems with the software. Here is why I'm so mad: thanks to verizon and their legal team you MUST have a password for you voicemail, even if you don't work for the FBI. However, you can enter a 'pause' and your password in the voicemail contact entry (i.e. *86P1234#) so when you dial voicemail it enters your password automatically. BUT when you get a prompt "New Voicemail" and click the option "listen now" the software is programmed to dial *86, EVEN THOUGH you change the voicemail entry to also dial your password. This such a simple concept yet Verizon fails!

    Re: LG VX10000 Voyager Review

How to insert a micro SD card into a VX10000.

I spent about 30 minutes to figuring out how to insert this micro SD card. I call myself a tech, but damn, LG obviously wanted us to destroy the micro SD card's before we can even get them into the phone's. I just bought the micro SD for my VX10000, so breaking it wasn't in my optional opinion's. There was nowhere to find an answer for this, and it's simple as pie......

Turn the Micro SD card over, so the gold stripes on the card is facing upward, then insert the card. So basically your just flipping the card over and inserting it. I don't think I can make it any clearer than that.

    Thanks.

The LG Voyager VX10000 has a rated battery life of 4 hours talk time and 20 days standby time.

I know 20 days! I can prove this myself, I have a titanium, that darn thing will last forever if you don't use it but, occasionally.

Re: LG VX10000 LG Voyager Review

I really liked this phone but it is poorly made. The hinges on this phone are so poorly made that verizion quit honoring the warranty. We have had three and all of the hinges have broken. Now the phone drops calls every day.. They want me to buy some other piece of crap instead of giving me anything as these are now out of production.

    Thanks for nothing Verizion
