It's funny how I look at the forums and see who Last Posted and usually it's the same person in a row on the top. And even if you go down you see other people who have made multiple posts in a row. It seems as if most people have gone post crazy to get points!

i dont post alot just to get the cpf money, i just do it to be part of the stuff goin on in here. i dont really use the cpf money that much anymore. only for things in the feature store and occaisonally a midi.

Participation in the community is encouraged, participation means posting....some people are on the boards for longer than others, I know when I am moderating I am sometimes on the boards for hour's dealing with questions and making sure everything is in order, during this time I will post replies to threads...

It also helps that I type 60+ WPM so I can type up a storm therefore I reply quicker than the average member

So you see it all depends how much time you put in to the boards, if you are here for 10 minutes and reply to two topics then of course you are only going to see your name on top of the active topics briefly....

Junk posting, single word replies, posting in the wrong forums, and posting to increase post count are all bannable offences and frowned upon..

Getting to know your fellow members by participating in threads, sharing your knowledge and contributing to the forums is encouraged, it's how we get to know each other and how the community will grow

edit: You can also notice when people joined the boards under their username...if you have been on the boards for longer than a month of course you are going to be familiar with the in's and out's of the boards, the members and you are going to have a higher participation rate....

EDIT : I aso fall into the 60+ WPM cat with cozi!, ppl always say i type really fast but 2 me its average! lol

she asked me what I was on ahhh you can't ever type too fast ... I wanna break the 100 WPM barrier

I can type fast coz we were taught in skool! my teacher could go like 80-90!

i type super slow ppl complain wen how i type but typing slow has its good points less likely to make mistakes evan though i cant ***** properly to save my life

I call it the 'Chicken Peck' y'know your finger looks like a chicken pecking at the keyboard

My doctor is the brother of my workmate and he only started using a computer a year ago and he types like this ... I recon his speed is one word a minute, don't get me wrong he is the loveliest guy but he cannot type and my consultation (when I had my ear infection) took forever

My stepfather also does the chicken peck ... no matter how I try to help he won't stop lookin' at the keys ,nothin wrong with the chicken peck it is just frustratingly slow .... I would go banana's

And his fingers do a little circle motion while he is looking for the key
