Another Melbourne, Australia chicky here Been staying here for the last 8 years...originally from Indonesia.

Australia is a lucky country to have the freedom and safety. You can do whatever you want, without being talked about too much. And, I would have never walk out by myself in Indonesia, have to be weary when you are a girl.

It reminds me of my first experience when I went to States. I got to the airport and this security lady has a long machine gun scaaaweeyy. I don't think I've ever seen gun that big in airport.

Australia ? me too.. 'cept im in Sydney.. moved here from Philippines when i was 6. I agree with paxy, Australia is a very lucky country.. the crime rate is not as a high as most other countries.. (not saying that we're immune from it tho').. I do miss my homeland a lot tho' .. havent been back for 7 years now, so I plan on returning for a vacation once i graduate from uni
