Why did you buy a camera phone?

i don't get you guys, you buy a phone with a horrible camera (the 2mp camera phone's picture quality can't compare to my vga camera's quality. you over pay on the phone itself and better off carry a small mini camera.

I think the cellphone makers are simply trying to jam pack as any features into that size handheld device... phone, rolodex, camera, video camera, game playing, interactive calendar, calculator, instant messenger, digital photo album, news-point, MP3 player, commercial video player.... have I missed any? I have the Motorola e815.. I just listed its features....

There's also now a 5 megapixel camera phone out there. The whole point is to be able to carry one device instead of three plus.

I'm not saying that it will ever happen, but I see where they are trying to go.

I didn’t really but my phone for the camera, I have a decent digital camera. But I do really like having it, as even though it takes sub-par pics it is perfect at parties and when funny moments happen, or maybe when you see something random and wish you had a camera. Well now you always do.

yes!! I have carried my "old" (last model) camera in my car for years for just that reason

i have a camera phone so when i do go out and i dont have my digi cam on me, i can always take a picture with my phone

yes but have anyone found that external screen is the one of the worse invention of all time? i mean sure you don't have to flip open the phone to see whos calling but a little bump and boom your screen crack and battery start to running off under a day and you need $200 dollars to buy a new phone just to make calls.

i haven't camera on my phone

I got my cam fon so I wouldnt have to carry my digi camera around all the time

just in case I run into something funny and wanna take a pic of it
or my kids do something funny while we are out some place
its just handy to have I guess

I actually never bought my fone because of the cameras, i bought it coz of the features and what it can do.

doesnt the side kick have quality like a digital camera(o and 4 those hu dont know it is a phone)
