I was checking out my features on my account online and I ran across this:

    EDGE WIRELESS CA
    ELA
    Extended Local Area (Calling Areas)

Anyone have an idea of what this means? It was added to my "plan" a few months ago without my knowledge. I tried calling Cingular but my head started to hurt waiting for someone to pick up.

See More: What does "Extended Local Area" mean?

i know what edge is all about, i've used it before.

but if u really wanted to know you'd wait on the phone. I work in an inbound call center and abandoned calls (when customers hang up) really piss me off so i'm not gonna help you.
