Hey, guys, I am woundering if any of you ever had this happend to you. I have just recently bought the IPAQ 6515 PDA/Phone. This phone is unlocked from Cingular network. For next 6 month I am going to be in Portugal. So I bought local sim card from Vodafone(largest euro provider). When I inserted the sim, I was prompted for SIM code(in the regular "Phone" screen), which I have entered(it came in startup kit). After that the program SimLock came up and request for some other code. It says:"Network is locked; please input unlock code".
What should I do? Does it mean that my phone was not unlocked?
    Thank you

No. Your phone was unlocked the first time. But, everytime you change out the sim card you go through the steps all over again. Do you still have your contract and all paperwork when you signed for the phone? Your lock code should be on there.......
Or, you can always call your provider and tell them the situation and they will tell you your lock code.

Personally, I would wait for a moderator in this site to tell you more before you do anything. I am not one. And they know a lot more.

Sorry, I could not help you more.......

I haven't set any contract with Cingular yet. I just bought it from HP distributor in States.
Should I see if Vodafone has a code like that?

Hm, it doesn't seem like Vodafone had an answer. But yet they say that my sim is not fried by SimLock and in the perfect working condition, so that is a good news.
I will try to get PUKs out of Cingular! If anyone has an idea about what is going on, please let me know.
