Which laptop is the best?

Hey, i'm planning to buy a laptop soon and i was wondering which laptop should i buy?

I might use the laptop for games but not that much. I need wireless internet connectivity, something around the 2.6Ghz + and like 512MB ram would be nice.
any suggestions?

If your even thinking of useing it for games then 512 is'nt even close to being enough... 1gig is min. IMHO, Dell, Compaq/HP both have good low to middle of the road laptops for less than a grand.

i wouldnt recomend ibook if yur used to windows

id recomend a laptop from the vaio series

and even a smaller laptop for more portability

but its kinda on the pricey side

how much are you looking to spend?

and might i add they are decent gaming comps

if yur a gaming junkie then buy a dell xps or one of the cheaper alienware notebooks

I'm a HUGE fan of Sager Notebooks...They make really high-end laptops and their prices aren't too bad

I just love th LG laptops, they have an amazing screen, good motherboard and they look good also (the silver one's)

You can't beat the new MacBook. You can partition it to install the Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

Anything but Dell or Gateway!

Actually, the Dell laptops are really nice. That is, the ones that cost over a grand. I have an Inspiron 8600 that is really nice. Of course, the Windows thing is a major drawback.

My theory of laptops is that they are great toys.... the desktop has the power

Thats why i love my laptop so much, it has the power off a desktop in it, that was the whole motto when it was being sold, a desktop on the go type thing.
