AT&T sues Samsung and other LCD manufacturers

Samsung and other LCD manufacturers were sued by AT&T Corp. for allegedly fixing the price in the LCD market. The manufacturers included in the lawsuit were: Samsung, LG Display, AU Optronics, Sharp etc. charging them to run a long-term conspiracy to fix, raise and maintain high LCD panel prices.

During this conspiracy period, AT&T was said to have bought 300 million mobile wireless handsets. No compensation charges were revealed.
