The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has seen its international release several months ago. Unfortunately, prospective customers in the US haven't been able to enjoy this particular gadget, but the good news is that the situation will soon change.

After various leaks that have surfaced recently, indicating that the SGS4 Mini is indeed going to be launched State-side, four major carriers have now made the handset official, and announced that they will indeed offer the S4 Mini on their shelves soon. As the title above suggests, these carriers will be AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular. Yeah, you'd think that T-Mobile would be the fourth carrier in the list, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

As to when we can expect the handset to go on sale, all four carriers are supposed to launch the device sometime in November. The price hasn't been announced yet, but more details should surface sooner rather than later.

In case you're unfamiliar with what the Galaxy S4 mini has to offer, then here's the rundown. The S4 Mini is a compact variant of the full-fledged Galaxy S4, boasting the same design language but smaller dimensions. However, don't get the name and these similarities fool you. The S4 Mini is noticeably less powerful than its larger sibling. Spec-wise, it features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540, a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, an Adreno 305 graphics chip and 1.5 GB of RAM.

The good news is that, unlike the international mode, the US variant of the S4 Mini will pack 16 GB of on-board storage instead of 8. Users will also be able to expand the storage by up to an additional 64 GB through a microSD card slot. Moving on, the gadget packs an 8 MP main camera with LED flash, complemented by a 1.9 MP secondary shooter, and is being powered by a 1,900 mAh battery. The Mini runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, sprinkled with the TouchWiz user interface on top.

Would any of you be interested in buying the SGS4 Mini in the US via one of the aforementioned carriers?
