Not too long ago, Samsung has started sending out invites for its "Unpacked" event that will take place in Berlin on September 4. As many of you already know by now, the Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be the highlight of the aforementioned event. Why am I mentioning Samsung's event? Well, the answer is pretty simple. Sony has also begun sending out press invites for its big upcoming event, which will also take place on September 4 at IFA in Berlin.

Sony's press conference will take place just a few hours after Samsung's Unpacked event, and during the show, the Japanese manufacturer is expected to reveal a wide range of consumer electronics products, including laptops and even TVs. Evidently, we're more interested in the Android segment, and chances are that the highly anticipated Sony Xperia i1 Honami will be present.

In case you're not familiar with the aforementioned device, based on the previous leaks the Honami will pack a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 441 pixels per inch, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage expandable via microSD by up to 64 GB, Android 4.2 out of the box and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Aside from this particular gadget, chances are that the Xperia Z Ultra will also be present at the event once again. More so, the recently leaked "Sony lens camera" might also be officially unveiled during IFA. The lens camera is basically an accessory (actually a whole line-up of accessories) for your smartphone. The entry level camera allegedly consists in a large 18 MP sensor boasting 10x optical zoom, Sony G lens and more.

All in all, September will definitely be a pretty interesting month for mobile and Android enthusiasts. Any thoughts?
