I have 300+ contacts in Outlook that I previously accessed on a BlackBerry via a BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) at my previous employer. I now have a Cricket MSGM8 II (ZTE A310) & need to get these contacts in the MSGM8’s phonebook. I will export the contacts to a compatible format, once I can access the phone from my PC.
The MSGM8 II has a mini-USB port for charging & I believe for data, but BitPim doesn’t list the phone & when I installed the latest version, it didn’t detect my phone. The MSGM8 II was type accepted very recently, I believe late July of this year (2010).
Windows detects the phone as “Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM”, but doesn’t locate a suitable driver.
I sure don’t want to manually enter 300+ phonebook entries. Anyone have an idea of how to proceed?

You might be able to use the "MyBackup" service if it's part of your plan. Once you've set it up, you can edit contacts from your account online. I don't know for sure if you can bulk add there since i just set my own up. But it should let you download an edited list to the phone, or what point in having it?

Yeah, I use the My Backup, but that's not what I wanted. I've manually entered many of the numbers, but would still like to add the rest.
Also, there's no way to get pictures off of this phone but using Bluetooth. I just can't believe that you can't use the mini USB port on this phone for data.Last edited by TangleWeb; 02-26-2011 at 07:43 AM. Reason: Speelin' ;)

It lets you import contacts exported as a file from Outlook, Outlook Express and a few others.

I sorted out the driver issue.
Here is the driver for the phone, and it works just fine.
A100_USB_V1.0.811 drivers.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download
The problem is, that once it is installed, I do not know how to get my data off of my phone...
Any one?
