cool little trick! (wallpapers for your sidekick)

hello! after LONG hours playing with my sidekick 2, ive discovered a few things that could be very useful to you guys!
i asked a question about wallpapers, i said, can i download wallpapers or even have a wallpaper on my phone? you guys answered, no... well, i must disagree, i found a way to have wallpapers!!
heres how..
download pic transfer for 1.99 from download fun. then whatever pics u have on ur computer, that u want to use on ur phone, u just email it to ur tmail account. go to ur sidekick and open the email, hit OPEN WITH PIC TRANSFER, and hit save! go back settings, hit keyguard, the first option is a pic, it will say TMOBILE...click it and select the pic u want out of ur camera's pics! and there ya go.. ur own WALLPAPER =)

You actually buy pics for your phone and side kick?


Wow with all the pics you can find on the net, just download to computer, edit and resize if you need to and copy them to your phone/sidekick for free. You'd just be using your data cable or bluetooth (or what other means your device or phone has to get files from computer to phone/device).

Unless of course you actually like paying money for ringtones and pictures.

no no, u misunderstood me. I bought Picture transfer which is 1.99 and that is a ONE time fee and what that does is, it allows me to send ANY picture from my computer FREE to my phone. I do not BUY my pictures lol. Like u said, i find them on the internet and then i email them to myself to my tmail account and use picture transfer to use as wallpaper.

Ah got it, not bad for a program on the PC if it's only 1.99.
Have a buddy that wanted to pretty much wanted to kill himself, after paying $50 in a month to download ringtone and pictures, especially after I showed him how to do it from free. hehehe

wow 50 bucks in one month? thats a little extreme, but i must admit thats something i would SO do if i didnt know about all the little tricks to by pass all that... =)

Hey do you have the drivers/software for the Sidekick 2 data cable? I have the cable, but as I hear the drivers for it are only available with the dev kit?

hmm, i dont have the drivers or software, i wasnt even aware that there was any software... if u find anything, let me know.. that should be interesting
