Having newer phones has great advatages - like being able to store many more sms's than the older phones (I remember having an old Samsung that would only hold like 15 SMS messages)...
So what is the most SMS that you have had stored on your phone???
I had to go through and delete some because I had 120!!! And that doesn't include drafts or sent messages!!!
(I have since checked the capacity and it is 700 SMS messages in the inbox and 250 in the sent folder!!!)
So what are the spec's for your phone??!!!

Hey,.. it's u Al!!! Nice to see u here,...

To start off with,... my phone can't really hold much SMSes due to the amount of memory my phone has,.. which is a really miserable 1MB... The most i've held would probably be 50+ in my inbox and 70+ in my sent folder,.... Far off from ur 700 inbox and 250 sent folder!!!!

I'm planning to get a Nokia 7200,... it's very expensive though
    Music never looked this Good

Well, with my old 7110 I passed the 80 sms mark, that is adding up all the folders. Now I´ve just got the 6100 - I know, I know, it´s oldish, but in Spain we tend to be quite late as far as technology goes - and I haven´t tried it´s maximum yet.

450 in my Inbox, I dunno about the other folders, each message is roughly 0.2kb, and my 128mb + 19mb space holds quite alot.

I receive my income via HTTP requests and has the full, I could have 1 billion text messages and mms. in my inbox on the web.
Too lazy and wear my regular phone utilizes the most when I go out, if needed otherwise I often work at the computer and then I think it is perfectly able to read my text messages on the web.

Likes 425 SEK for years is no direct money to do that
Since backups every 10 minutes so if am accidentally delete some text or mms on the page so you can easily get them re-created

sorry did not see that thread huh old was not thinking about the date: P
