Does anyone know if any CDMA handsets currently make use of the IS95 sync
channel DAYLT parm.
This parm is supposed to indicate to the handset whether the base station
is supplying standard or daylight savings time , but Im not aware of any handsets
that actually use it for anything.
The handsets do use the sync channel sys (gmt) time , local offset & leap second fields , but I dont know of any that act on the DAYLT field.

Re: CDMA daylight savings
What is the alternative to setting the time if daylt is not used?
