I'm sick and tired of getting ripped off and I want to design a new alarm system for my house. I know it's possible to have a cell modem send an alarm signal to my cell phone, but I was told that current cell modems could not transfer streaming video (I want to SEE the thief who's breaking into my house...and hopefully be able to talk to him as well). I have lot's of other "fun" features planned for my system, but the video feed is the most important to me.

Anyone know if this is possible with current technology?

No one has any idea if you can do streaming video with your cell phone?

I would bet the LG VX9800 is capable. I will have my hands on one Tuesday and I will let you know.
