Hi I am new here and I didn't really know where to post this.

I am getting a new phone it has to:

-be under 300 dollars, im signing a 2 year contract
    -keyboard
    -speakerphone camera, the works
    -media player
    -windows mobile OS

I would like it to be able to edit word documents, not a big deal

I am either getting the Motorola Q from Verizon or the Cingular 8125.

The thing is I have Cingular now so I could just upgrade or sign a new contract. The Q is cheaper but I would have to swtich to Verizon, kind of a pain.

    Thanks for the help.

    See More: Q or 8125

The 8125 is a pocket pc with touch screen and the Q is a smartphone, which would you rather have? Two things the 8125 has over the Q is, more internal memory and wifi. While the Q is rather thin, I think you should go for the 8125. You can compare them here: Compare Phones (Phone Scoop)

    Ok, thanks for the link.

One of the reasons I considered the Q was because the 8125 doesn't look like a phone to be used with one hand. The Q has that click wheel on the side like the Blackberry which makes one handed use easier.

the Q was built to compete with the blackberry, its nowhere close to the 8125

The Q is just a blackberry clone, without the advantages of the blackberry. As a matter of fact, the latest Blackberry is pretty good, much better than the Q.
As far as I am concerned, if you want a Blackberry, buy a BlackBerry.
