Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
Has anyone tried mobilelocators.com for mobile phone tracking? They claim to be able to track any mobile to within 50 metres in the Uk.

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
Whoa, that's kinda cool, but of course if there is no cell phone coverage where you are you can't get tracked right? I fish and hunt out in no-man's land. If I get lost can anyone find me if the cell phone has no service bar?

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
I want to have statistics on how much i work (how long i stay at the office, basically).
Is there a program that could somehow track every half hour or something where i am? i dont need absolute precision, i essentially need a binary thing: am i, or am i not, at the office. and i d like the phone to keep track of this by itself.
i dont want to pay to big brother myself obviously. i m thinking maybe by tracking what gsm antenna i m connected to or something. or gps-ing me. i dont know. Any idea? thanks!

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
GPS can be useful but using it to track other people is kinda creepy. And what if someone borrowed someone's cell phone without them knowing to try to frame them, like in the cheating husband scenario?
How do you know if your cell phone has GPS anyway?

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
I have tried Telenav Track on Sprint/Nextel and AT&T and it works great. You can not remote start it if you are using a BlackBerry, but they do have several pricing options. This is more for small business I would say, but if you have under 50 drivers then it is a very low cost option compared to some of the other tracking options out there.

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
I have GPs on my phone and it works pretty well. Never tried tracking a phone but I could see where it could come in handy with kids.

Re: Cell Phone Tracking & GPS
Hey man -- if you're still interested I found this site that gives you a little info about tracking a lost or stolen cell phone, and can connect you to companies that can do this in your area. I hooked up with a company advertising there that gave me a google earth image of a location my phone had been sitting at for 2 days. (It wasn't even on.) A thief's house! It helped me out a bunch.
try
