Effective Nov 1st 2007, Pennsylvania drivers can be pulled over for using their cell phone while driving. A 'hands free device' will be allowed. The fine will be $50.
PA is the 6th state to adopt a cell phone while driving ban. The other 5 are Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, California and Washington. More details on cell phone state laws can be found here: State Cell Phone Driving Laws

As i drive in jersey you would never know there is a law against using a cell phone while driving.

Yeh, I know what you mean. Used to live in Jersey. It's like the seatbelt law and will probably be used in the same fashion. (cop only gives you the ticeket as an altrenative to giving you a speeding ticket)

That is crazy. I can see why though, some people need to do less talking on the cell and get out of the fast lane. lol
