Please help I just bought a 1 gig micro sd card and I cannot get things from my computer to go to the card. It gives me an error message saying "The device is not ready". It works fine with the phone, I just can't get computer files on it.
Sorry if this is the wrong place,
Goose

Re: Help with micro sd card
are you inserting the card into the card reader in the computer or are you doing it through the phone? It would be easier if you got a micro sd adaptor and just insert it into the computer's sd reader. But before that make sure the phone formats the card.

Re: Help with micro sd card
k then, just format it and insert it to the pc and add your files to the appropriate folder. It is much easier to do it like that. If that doesnt work, tell me what phone and model you have so i can further assist you.

Re: Help with micro sd card
with the samsung 740 it shouldnt have a problem, I had that phone in the past and the method i first talked about worked just fine. On the vx8300 does the phone recognize the sd card as a storage device? if it does then the problem might be your computer.
