i really dont like to believe in water proofs phones.

LOL! It really is hard to depend and trust a waterproof phone especilly when you are used to the ones that will instantly sizzle out over a little water. But, these phones are guaranteed to be waterproof and are suppose to have the certification to back it up.

For a solar powered phone it actually looks very nice. Has anyone have any news on this yet? I thought it's scheduled for release last June?

It was scheduled for a June release, but have not heard any more about this device. I will keep you posted as soon as I do...Looks like I may have to research this one out.

How about shock proof?

At the time of announcemet, not much was known about this phone...no name, no specs and there was no mention regarding if this device was shock proof. I will keep you posted on any updated info.
